Hi! I’m Cristina, founder of RECO SKINLAB. A cosmetics brand born from my love for nature, skincare, and aesthetics, and from the desire to redefine what modern beauty truly means for me.
IT ALL STARTED IN LONDON
After more than six years working in the international skincare industry, between London and Barcelona, I started to notice a pattern. Brands were still speaking to consumers through fear. Fear of ageing and of imperfection.
And while the science was evolving, the message wasn’t.
I realized it was time for a change. For a new narrative that celebrates positive rejuvenation. A message built on transparency, honesty, and emotional connection. A message that recognizes how skincare goes beyond the surface.
With RECO SKINLAB, I wanted to bring back the confidence of feeling good in your own skin. Through our signature SKIN RESET look: skin that feels renewed, healthy, balanced and naturally radiant.
THE “WHY” BEHIND RECO
I’ve always believed that how we create is just as important as what we create. While working in this industry, I saw firsthand how much waste the sector produced, especially unnecessary outer boxes and materials that consumers throw away seconds after unboxing.
That disconnect between beauty and sustainability didn’t feel right on me.
I wanted to build a brand aligned with my personal values. A brand that cared for both skin health and planet health, proving that true luxury doesn’t come from excess but from conscious creation.
At the same time, I saw how complex most skincare routines had become with too many steps, too many products and formulas that often overlapped. What I wanted was to simplify skincare. To create a minimal collection using key actives in their highest concentrations to target all major skin goals.
FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO THE LAB
Inspired by the calm of the mountains, the beauty of nature, and the precision of dermatology, I founded RECO: short for Reconnect and for my last name as well.
The mountains have always been my place of clarity and inspiration. A place where everything unnecessary fades away, leaving only what truly matters. That same philosophy guides RECO: a brand where nature, science, and aesthetics coexist in perfect harmony.
