RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

We have a 30-day return window for eligible items (see below). EU/UK consumers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal as described in the “European Union 14 day cooling off period” section.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in the original packaging with all seals and labels intact. You’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Unless we delivered a defective/incorrect item, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Use a trackable service and keep proof of postage.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, leaking or if you receive the wrong item. Provide photos of the parcel, label and contents so we can evaluate and make it right under your legal guarantee.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

• For health protection and hygiene reasons, cosmetic products that have been unsealed (seal broken) or opened after delivery cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal (Art. 16(e) Consumer Rights Directive).

• Gift cards and personalised items are non-returnable.

• Hazardous materials/flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned unless required by law.
  Note: Discounted/sale items are not excluded from your legal right of withdrawal simply because they were on sale; eligibility depends on the above conditions.

Exchanges
The fastest way is to place a new order and return the original (if eligible).

European Union 14 day cooling off period
If your order is shipped within the EU/UK, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw without giving any reason, provided the product is unopened and sealed as above. Notify us within 14 days (email is sufficient) and return the items within the next 14 days. We will refund the item price and, where applicable, the standard outbound delivery cost. You bear the return shipping cost unless we delivered a defective/incorrect item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, we’ll refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the goods or proof of return (whichever comes first). Your bank/issuer may take additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since our refund confirmation, contact hello@recoskinlab.com.
